Internship Program
Our internship program consists of 5-6 week internship period and the interns get a certificate at the end of their internship. The interns are engaged in different activities including mentorship and tutoring of children and office work, and gain hands-on experience. Many of them come to understand the management of non-profit work and also to do case studies. Our past interns have come from several universities including Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Symbiosis University Pune and Kashmir university.
Volunteer Program
CHINAR Kashmir has benefitted immensely from the enthusiasm and energy that our volunteers have brought to our programs over the years. We welcome volunteers from all age groups who have an interest in working with children, helping organize an activity or helping with office work. There are several ways in which you can volunteer your time at CHINAR Kashmir. Some of the past volunteer activities have included helping with office work, mentoring the children and engaging them in many extra-curricular activities, imparting computer training and arranging outings for the children.
