    Recently, three of our CHINAR Home girls have performed really well in their 10th Class Board Exams. These girls namely: Noorjahan, has secured 80% marks, while as Rubeena has got 79% and Zubaida 77%. This has given their belief in them a big boost, and they have decided to take Medical, Arts and Commerce respectively, as their subjects, going onwards. They are brimming with confidence and are sure that they will continue doing very well. In the class 12th Board Results, our Arif-ul-Islam, secured 82% marks and now he is preparing for the AIEEE entrance test. It was really heartening.

  • Inauguration of Computer Center

    The Hardware and furniture for CHINAR Kashmir Computer Training Center under the Skills Enhancement and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) Program, has been donated by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL). The Center was inaugurated by DGM IOCL Mr. D K Goel in presence of the President and Directors of CHINAR Kashmir on 24 th May 2017.

  • Assistance to Handwara Fire Victims

    In response to the news of a devastating fire in the Wadder Payeen village of Handwara that left many families homeless on December 30, CHINAR Kashmir came forward with immediate assistance in the form of bedding, blankets, pherans, kitchen utensils, rice, spices and cooking oil. This aid was distributed amongst the 27 affected families on January 11/1/2017. CHINAR Kashmir has a long history of disaster relief in Kashmir. We have done extensive work in Uri during the 2005 earthquake, rebuilt homes in several districts after the 2014 floods, assisted in Waltengo during the 2005 avalanche, and provided relief during other small calamities.

  • Ambulance Donation – Bone & Joint Surgery Hospital Srinagar

    Continuing with the efforts for mitigating the suffering of needy people by way of undertaking Relief and Rehabilitation work CHINAR Kashmir (Child Nurture & Relief Kashmir) donated an Ambulance for use by Bone & Joint Surgery Hospital Srinagar on 19/12/2016. The vehicle was handed over to Dr. Qaiser Ahmad, Principal Govt. Medical College by Mr. N.A Qureshi and Mr. W.M Malik , President and Secretary of CHINAR Kashmir in presence of Medical Superintend and other doctors and staff of Bone & Joint Hospital.
