With profound grief and sorrow, CHINAR Kashmir announces the passing of our esteemed President, Mr. N. A. Qureshi, on 01 November 2025.
Mr. Qureshi served with exceptional dedication, compassion, and integrity. A Mechanical Engineer by profession, he brought over 35 years of experience, having retired as the Chief Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Department, J&K State. Beyond his distinguished career in public service, he was a pillar of strength for CHINAR Kashmir, guiding our mission with wisdom, humility, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of children, youth, and communities across the Valley.
His dedication, kindness, leadership, and principled vision have left an indelible mark on the organization and the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered not only as a leader but also as a mentor, humanitarian, and gentle soul who believed deeply in service to humanity.
We request everyone to remember him in your prayers and continue to carry forward the values he stood for. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and bless his soul with eternal peace.
