CHINAR Home Program(CHP)
CHINAR Home Program (CHP) was started in 2004 as a pilot project to provide a home for orphaned children so that they can grow up in a safe and familial environment.
At CHINAR home, these children are cared and emotionally supported by live-in caregivers (mothers). The children are provided quality education in good private schools and in-house tuition. A myriad set of extra-curricular activities including photography, music, computer training, art and games etc are also organized so as to ensure a well-rounded education. In addition, we also make sure to look after the health care of the children residing at CHINAR Home.
Back in 2004, we started this project from a rented house and now thanks to all our benefactors we moved to our own property situated in the Khanpora area of district Budgam. Our new home is a spacious place with tidy rooms for children, clean dining area, resourceful library and a well-equipped computer lab. We are happy that we could provide an enriched, comfortable and happy home for our children.
