The spirit of gratitude and togetherness reached its peak today as CHINAR Kashmir celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with the children of CHINAR Home. It was a day filled with smiles, traditional festivities, and a profound sense of family that defines our mission.
The celebrations were made even more special by the presence of Mr. Abdul Aziz Rawa, president of CHINAR Kashmir. Mr. Rawa spent some time interacting closely with the children, sharing stories, and offering words of encouragement. During the gathering, Mr. Rawa highlighted the importance of compassion and the role of education in shaping a bright future. The children, dressed in their finest Eid attire, were delighted to share their achievements and aspirations with him.
The highlight of the event was a heartwarming reunion with five young women who were among the first to join CHINAR Kashmir at a very young age. Their journey from the halls of CHINAR Home to their current roles as successful professionals and graduate students served as a powerful inspiration for the younger children.

Beyond the festivities, the event was about reinforcing a sense of belonging. At CHINAR Kashmir, we don’t just provide a home; we nurture a family that remains connected long after a child has grown.
We extend our warmest Eid greetings to our supporters, donors, and the entire CHINAR family. It is your generosity that makes these moments of joy—and these stories of success—possible.
