This Program has many success stories to its credit
So far our, Cutting & Tailoring Training Center in CK Home has trained around 40 girls, in three batches and some of these trainees have set up their own enterprise, a few in their own homes and are making , much needed profits for them selves and their families
As the enrollment of local girls from villages around the CK Home flattened-out due to saturation; under our policy of – Go to them if they can’t come to you – we have opened three more Training Centers at: Ompora, Narkura and one in far-off Kishtwar. Each of these Centers take-in Batches of 12 to 16 girls for every Course. Till-date we have trained 20 Girls in Ompora and 15 girls in Narkura Centers. Most of them have also started working from their homes, catering to local needs in their villages
