Photography Exhibition

We organized a photo exhibition Moments: A Chronicle of Childhood  in July 2011 to showcase some of the photographs that the children of CHINAR Home had taken during a month long photography workshop given by our summer volunteer from U.S.A Fatima Padela. She taught the children basic photography skills and allowed them to explore their creativity. The children showed a remarkable degree of creativity as well as an unexpected insight in capturing the essence of their childhood at CHINAR Home. The exhibition was a celebration of that childhood,  of their resilience in the face of many odds, and of their  accomplishments—big and small. It was a peek into their life as seen through their eyes.
