As the blessed month of Ramadhan has begun, we once again take this opportunity to write to our benefactors and well-wishers, expressing our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and trust in the noble mission of CHINAR Kashmir (CK). For over two decades, we have walked this journey together, and your generosity has been the very cornerstone of our progress.
CHINAR Kashmir is a non-political, non-profit organization committed to uplifting marginalized children, women, and families. Based in Jammu and Kashmir, our work focuses primarily on education and skill development, helping children access quality schooling, supporting youth in pursuing higher studies, and equipping women with practical skills that promote independence and sustainable livelihoods. In addition, we extend assistance to families facing hardship, ensuring they receive timely and compassionate support when needed.
We are especially pleased to share that the JK BOSE results of students supported under our educational programmes have been truly remarkable. Out of 46 students under RCSP (Remote Child Sponsorship Program) and CHP (CHINAR Home Program), who appeared in JK BOSE exams in class 10th, 11th and 12th, 35 students have scored more than 85% marks. The rest 11 students also scored decent percentage between 65-85%.
Likewise, the results of scholars enrolled under our STEP UP (Scholarship, Training and Education Program for Undergraduates and Postgraduates) program pursuing Pharma D and MBBS have been outstanding.
Similarly in SEED Program, more than 80% of trainees (women/ girls) have successfully transformed their skills into sustainable sources of income. These achievements stand as a powerful reflection of your faith in our mission. Quite simply, this success is because of you. Without your support, such outcomes would not have been possible.
The attached brochure provides an overview of our programs and highlights the progress achieved so far. It also includes the bank account details for making donations.
At our end, we continue to strive towards creating meaningful and lasting impact among marginalized communities. Our mission remains firmly rooted in serving the most vulnerable: providing care and protection to orphaned and destitute children, enabling underprivileged students to pursue education, empowering young women and girls with income-generating skills, and providing essential food kits to the families belonging to economically weak section. Every initiative we undertake is guided by dignity, compassion, and a commitment to restoring hope.
On behalf of CHINAR Kashmir, we once again convey our sincere thanks to everyone who has enabled us to reach this milestone, of more than two decades now. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to our shared goals. With the Grace of Almighty Allah, your continued benevolence, and the blessings of the holy month of Ramadhan, we shall carry on this path-hoping and praying that we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, especially children and women, while steadfastly upholding our core values of transparency and honesty.
Above all, we remember with deep respect and gratitude Mr. Nazir Ahmad Qureshi (Founding Member and Director), who passed away in November 2025. Though he is no longer with us, his enduring spirit and invaluable contribution will continue to inspire and guide our mission for generation to come.
Allah bless you and your families.
Thanking you
