RCSP Meetup at CK Home : A Day of Inspiration at CHINAR Kashmir

Last Saturday, May 25th, 2025, marked a truly special day at CHINAR Kashmir! We were thrilled to host an in-person interactive session for 36 bright RCSP students from District Budgam, ranging from 6th to 12th grade, right here at CK Home Budgam.

The primary aim of this session was to highlight how the Remote Child Sponsorship Program (RCSP) is actively shaping brighter futures for these young minds. It was a fantastic opportunity to create a platform where students could openly express their experiences, foster a stronger bond between CHINAR Kashmir and our dedicated scholars, and feature powerful testimonials directly from the students themselves. An interactive dialogue with the CHINAR Kashmir management rounded out the day, making it a truly engaging experience for everyone.

Our management team shared invaluable insights and urged the children to embrace hard work, honesty, and dedication in whatever career path they choose. It was inspiring to see the students absorb these words of wisdom!

Beyond the general session, we facilitated focused group discussions tailored to the students’ fields of interest. Ms. Durdana Masoodi, a dedicated volunteer pursuing her Ph.D. in political science, engaged with the girl students who have chosen humanities. Meanwhile, CK Advisor Aijaz Ahmad Mir and CK Director A.A. Rawa provided guidance and encouragement to students aspiring for careers in Medicine and Engineering, respectively.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect! The Class 11th results were declared just the night before, and we had incredible news to celebrate: 13 CK students (1 from CK Home and 12 from RCSP) passed their exams with flying colors! To commemorate this fantastic achievement, we distributed sweets to all the children, along with refreshing tea and snacks.

It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and celebration, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing the potential of every student. We’re incredibly proud of our RCSP scholars and look forward to many more sessions like this!
