We were delighted to host three engaging art and theatre workshops for our young residents during their stay at Chinar Kashmir on September 28th and 29th, 2024. These workshops provided a unique opportunity for our children to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.
A talented and experienced facilitator, Ms. Astha Jha, led the workshops and guided our children through a variety of activities, including:
1) Art & Craft: From making paper caps to tissue paper flowers, our children had the chance to explore their artistic side and create beautiful and unique pieces.
2) Theatre and Performance: Our children learned about resonators, voice modulation, and scriptwriting. They also participated in fun exercises to enhance their performance and collaborated to create engaging skits.
3) Thread Painting and Body Movement: Combining art and movement, our children explored the expressive power of thread painting and body movement exercises.
Our children were enthusiastic and engaged throughout the workshops, demonstrating a deep passion for the arts. They supported and encouraged each other to try new things and developed a strong sense of community.
We are incredibly proud of our children’s accomplishments and progress during these workshops. We believe these experiences will have a lasting impact on their lives and inspire them to continue exploring their creativity.
We want to thank Ms. Astha for her dedication and expertise, and we look forward to hosting more exciting workshops and activities for our young residents in the future.
