CHINAR Kashmir’s Eid Clothing Distribution Brings Joy to Baramulla

CHINAR Kashmir continued its tradition of compassion and community support by organizing a free clothing distribution drive for the economically weaker sections of society in view of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. The initiative took place on March 29th, 2025, at Najan Pattan, District Baramulla, bringing much-needed cheer to families preparing for the festive occasion.

The distributed clothes were newly sewed by the talented women trainees enrolled in the SEED centers run by CHINAR Kashmir, under the expert guidance of professional trainers.

Understanding the financial constraints faced by many, CHINAR Kashmir distributed over 600 new clothes, including beautifully crafted Ladies Firaq Shalwar, adorable Girls’ dresses, and warm Pherans. The aim was to ensure that more families could celebrate Eid with dignity and joy.

The success of the drive was evident in the happy faces of the recipients. In a heartwarming moment, a young girl was even seen wearing her new dress on the very same day, a testament to the immediate impact of this thoughtful gesture.

CHINAR Kashmir remains committed to its mission of supporting the vulnerable and fostering a sense of community, especially during important festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr. We believe that even a small act of kindness can bring immense happiness and make a significant difference in the lives of others.
