The Remote Child Sponsorship Program (RCSP) supports underprivileged children living in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Through this initiative, we provide assistance to socially and economically disadvantaged children while allowing them to remain within their familiar environments. Our monthly support package covers essentials such as food, school fees, stationery, clothing, and other basic needs.
We have continuously expanded the RCSP, with the overall number of beneficiaries reaching over 2500. These children hail from various regions, including Leh, Uri, Anantnag, Awantipora, Kishtwar, and Srinagar.
We cover the school fees, uniforms, and other school-related expenses to ensure that children can access quality education.
We provide children with necessary stationery, textbooks, and other educational materials.
We have a frequent assessment drive where our field officers visit the children to guide them and ensure they are performing well.
At CHINAR Kashmir, our students’ voices are a testament to the impact of our programs. Their experiences reflect the positive changes and growth they undergo while being part of our initiatives.
“Thanks to the Remote Child Sponsorship Program, I have everything I need to focus on my studies. I dream of becoming a doctor, and with CHINAR’s support, I feel one step closer every day.”
“CHINAR Kashmir has given me the chance to learn and grow. From school supplies to new uniform, they’ve ensured I have everything I need to stay in school and pursue my dreams.”
