Scholarship, Training and Education Program for Undergraduates and Postgraduates (STEP-UP)

As education is a powerful tool to build a career and a better future, CHINAR Kashmir came up with this STEP-UP Program to help students who are keen in continuing their higher studies but unable to pursue due to weak economic conditions caused by unexpected loss or ill health of a parent leading to drop in family income, or for any other reasons.

The STEP-UP Programme is not only offered to RCSP children but also for children who are not part of RCSP. CHINAR Kashmir identifies and provides equal opportunities to these students to fulfil their dreams, thus bringing a positive change in their life.

Through this program, CHINAR Kashmir supports various courses including

A female student from Barzula was pursuing Bachelros in Business Administration(BBA) at Iqbal Memorial Institute of Management Studies. Since her mother passed away due to Cancer, her family was left with no money as all the savings and income was spent on medication and therapies. CHINAR Kashmir intervened and helped her continue pursuing her BBA.

A make student from Kokernag applied for financial assistance from CHINAR Kashmir to complete his Masters degree in Mass Communication. Our board approved his application so that he could complete his PG degree on time.
